Digital 101* is a ten week introduction to working with images in a computer. The course begins with the basics of digital images and gradually introduces advanced skills, permitting each student to learn the skills necessary to get the most out of their digital images. Through class presentations, weekly critiques and review of student work, discussions and four assignments, students are provoked to push their digital skills further.

Most nights begin with a review and exploration of the student's images, and then moves onto a lecture/demonstration on a new topic, swiftly expanding the student's understanding of the fundamentals of digital imaging.

Designed for the new or inexperianced digital image user, Digital 101 can also serve as the prefect course for those who have worked with digital images for years, but still feel they have holes in their fundamental skills.

* this course focuses on post-processing and image presentation skills
