PhotoWorkshops.ca is owned and operated by Eric Boutilier-Brown, an internationally published photographer who has taught and lectured in both Canada and the United States. Since he began taking photographis in 1987, the craft and art of photography has never ceased to amaze him and enthrall him. A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Eric Boutilier-Brown has taught photographic workshops since 1995, covering topics ranging from archival issues with historical photographs to advanced techniques in digital photography. Having a rich blend of experience with both general and fine art photography, and his feet firmly in both the analogue and digital world, allows Eric to share a well balanced perspective on this fascinating art form. Eric Boutilier-Brown has been a guest presenter at the University of Maine, the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and the Centre for Arts and Technology, and has taught classes at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, Eastern College and the Nova Scotia Community College, Waterfont Campus. In addition to pursuing his own photography, Eric Boutilier-Brown has owned and operated a private photo lab specializing in historical reproductions and documentation, and has worked in photo retail for the two largest photo stores in Eastern Canada. All this experience and knowledge blends to give him a broad range of photographic skills for both the commercial and fine art world. Eric Boutilier-Brown's fine art photographs have appeared in exhibitions in Canada, the United States and Europe, and have been featured in more than two dozen photographic books and magazines worldwide. Original prints of his photographs are in public collections in Canada and private collections around the world. |
